Originally purchased from the Linfox group by the MD group, “The Armaguard Building” was Armaguard’s West End purpose built armoured vehicle depot for many years. For two years, this site was the home of ProppaNOW an Indigenous Artists Collective, whilst plans were being prepared for an affordable housing project that did not proceed. This site was sold in 2007 to the Indigenous Land Corporation and will soon be the new home for the Brisbane Indigenous Media Association Incorporated and radio stations 98.9FM and 4AAA.

The site for Southbank Campus Apartments, “The Montague” (formerly Coronation Hotel) and Shops at 44 Montague Road was acquired and negotiated by Paul Hey in 1998 on behalf of interests associated with Jeff Wicks and partner.
This site was fully redeveloped in 1999/2000 into the successful mixed use project that exists today as the 93 apartments making up Southbank Campus Apartments, retail space at 44 Montague Road and the Refurbishment of the Montague building providing office space and “The Joynt – Café/Bar”.
“The Montague” is owned by Jeff Wicks and is the heart of the Montague Developments operation with the location of its offices.
